“It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.” by Voltaire

This quote was written by Voltaire a french poet, writer, and philosopher. This quote shows that during times that are described or called as peace, crimes like stealing or killing are punished severely, but during war killing is allowed no matter the number of victims and stealing is allowed too as long as it is from the enemy and not your own army. I think that this quote shows a very true situation and that killing shouldn’t be allowed no matter the cause.
